Rachel Jones, MS, CCC-SLP

Founder

Rachel is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She is an Arkansas native, and she graduated with her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Arkansas. She has worked in pediatric clinics in both Arkansas and Mississippi.

Rachel loves to treat a variety of language and speech disorders. She specializes in the treatment of speech sound disorders including the treatment of CAS, Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She has completed various trainings in this area including advanced training in the use of DTTC, Dynamic Tactile and Temporal Cueing. Additionally, Rachel is the only PROMPT, PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets, trained therapist in Desoto County. Rachel also loves to work with children with autism spectrum disorder and is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS).

Rachel has completed training in Natural Language Acquisition, as well as alternative communication methods including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP). Rachel’s favorite part of being a speech-language pathologist is building relationships with her patients and empowering them to meet their goals. Outside of the clinic, Rachel loves to travel and spend time with her husband-Matt, son-Bennett, daughter-Millie, and dog-Baxter.
